v3.5 Software Release

We have today released v3.5 of the Retro-Printer Software, which takes into account user feedback and requests.

This includes:

  • Speed improvements to the Epson ESC/P2 Convertor
  • Ability to specify the number of bits to be interpreted from the centronics port.  This is normally 8 bits, but some devices only send 7 bits of data.
  • Support for ANSI letter size, plus A3 and A5 portrait and landscape printing
  • Updated printpcl.sh to offer more options including a configurable prefix for filenames created with GhostPCL
  • Bug fix which prevented landscape printing from working

The manual has been updated accordingly.
